Anandghar began on November 1, 2015. Long before its start, there was a strong desire to establish a good child care center (daycare) and school. However, considering the challenges, the idea was postponed. Since around 2006, a study of child care and education had begun. This included reading and writing on various topics such as stages of child growth, physical-mental-social development, nutrition, and how children learn. Various trainings were undertaken, laying a foundation. The scope and importance of child care and education became clear.
There was reflection on the state of education at the national and international level, and what changes were needed. This led to combined study of Law and Education. While considering the education system expected by the Indian Constitution, the Right to Education Act (RTE), and its implementation, it was felt that directly participating in children’s growth and care, and communicating with parents, was extremely important. Both intellectual struggle and practical work are necessary for positive change.
Therefore, this child care center (daycare) not only provides the basics of care but also applies the insights gained over 9–10 years of study in child care and education, along with psychology and child psychology, to bring about positive change.

Initially, Anandghar admitted children aged 2 to 12 years. From 2019, due to consistent demand from parents, children aged 6 months to 2 years were also admitted. This reflects the needs of changing times. Today’s families require a supporting system. Especially mothers need alternative parenting to pursue their own dreams and goals. Recognizing this, Anandghar accepts the role of alternative parenting. In Anandghar’s clean, safe, and healthy environment, parents can confidently leave their children and focus on their work.

Future Path of Anandghar :-
From November 1, 2015 to March 2020, Anandghar’s work was carried out very successfully. In March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the whole world unexpectedly shut down, and Anandghar’s work too was temporarily halted.
Afterwards, as the world changed, Anandghar’s direction also shifted. Now Anandghar is engaged in:

– Workshops for children of different age groups
– Courses in child education
– Consultancy for those who wish to start a child care center like Anandghar
– Work on topics such as child rights and new dimensions of parenting
